Nadine is a bubbly, positive, animated person with a passion for travel. This was discovered on yearly trips through the Karoo to East London, where her mother’s side of the family hails from. Her very first resort experience was at the age of 7 to Sun City. A true ocean girl, she loves swimming, picnics on the beach and long walks in nature.
Her first overseas experience was as an au pair in Fairfax Station, Virginia US, where she cared for 3 very active kids of ages of 7, 10 &13. This had always been a dream and materialized in the year 2000. During this year, she was privileged enough to travel extensively within the borders of the US, including trips to New York, Boston, Philadelphia & California to name but a few.
After returning to SA in 2001, she was employed at her first Travel company as a receptionist and she soon realized that once the ‘bug’ for travel bites, there is no turning back. Since then she had worked for several inbound tour operators, with the main focus on UK & Scandinavian guests traveling to Southern Africa.
In 2006, she did a classic tour of Europe which included London, France, Austria, Switzerland & Italy. Next and definitely on the list is Botswana and Mexico as she had always been interested in the culture of this Spanish-speaking nation.
Joining Art in Voyage is a new challenge with lots of possibilities and the added bonus of learning the ins and outs of selling travel to the world. This is very new and exciting and she is thrilled to tap into different facets of this dynamic industry.
