Set off at a leisurely pace on your mountain bike, cycling the mountain biking trails through the wilderness of Namibia. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, including wildcats, rhinos, elephants, and other endangered species such as the aardvark, pangolins, and brown Hyenas. Experience an eclectic mix of accommodation, from wild camping to the comfort of luxury lodges and tented camps, surrounded by natural beauty and majestic golden sunsets.
Upon your arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be whisked away by an AIV host in a private vehicle to your home for the night, in the foothills of the Erongo Mountain range. Steeped in history, the ancient rock formations are the eroded remains of a volcanic complex about 130 million years old. Famous for its countless rock painting sites, Ai-Aiba is a mystical exploration of nature. Tonight, our welcome dinner is held... under the stars.
This morning, after breakfast we make our way to the Damaraland Reserve where your mountain biking vacation officially begins! Our route takes us through Twyfelfontein, which recently gained UNESCO World Heritage status. Along the way, we ride through "organ pipes" and burnt orange mountains. After checking into our private camp, we relax by the pool, or take advantage of some of our local rangers' knowledge on a walking safari.
Today, join us for an array of exciting activities around the khaki plains of Damaraland. Enjoy an adventurous biking challenge amid a wildlife conservation area and learn more about the local communities' traditions and cultural practices. Along the way, we may even stumble upon elephants and rhinos! In the evening, we have a delightful dinner under a boma, where we enjoy local tribes' singing and dancing rituals.
This morning, after a hearty breakfast we head to the Palmwag area where we experience Art in Voyage's famous wild glamping. But first, we have to cycle through various diverse terrains, all while trying to spot the unique wildlife that roams freely in the vicinity. In the evening, we gaze up at the stars while enjoying dinner alongside a blazing campfire.
Early this morning, our local guide takes us on a hike, where we learn about local wildlife and how to track them. We spend the afternoon at leisure for those wanting to rest from the excitement over the past few days. Other guests can join their local guide for more biking through the surrounding areas, while scouting for indigenous wildlife.
Today, we travel further worth-west to the isolated Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, where we stay for three nights. Explore what Namibia's Skeleton Coast has to offer, from ancient traditions to safari excursions. On arrival, we indulge in a sun downer game drive, cocktails included. Dinner will be served under the African sky.
This morning, after a delicious breakfast, we prepare for a full day Safari experience! As we travel through the Skeleton Coast, we appreciate our surroundings, peppered with old ship-wrecks, towering sand dunes, Cape fur seals, and other wildlife. We return to the camp on an exhilarating flight, that soars over the desolate but ethereal expanses. In the evening, dinner is held outside, where we soak the beauty of Namibia.
In the early morning we have go on a game drive, or indulge in a late start and enjoy the morning at leisure. Later, we head to the local desert Oasis, an inviting reprieve from the dry surrounds of the desert, where we have the opportunity to spot wildlife drinking. Here, we enjoy a picnic lunch before making our way back to the property, where have our farewell dinner.
After a traditional breakfast and an early game drive for those interested, we must say farewell to Namibia and make our way back to the international airport by way of a private scenic flight. A fly-over the famous Sossusvlei dunes awaits, where your cameras should be at the ready! We say a big THANK YOU for an incredible week of self-discovery, as we soak in the last of the views.

Travel insurance, once purchased, goes into effect upon payment of the premium. You have 15 days from that date to cancel it (providing no claims have been filed or initiated during that period). Beyond 15 days, it becomes non-refundable/non-changeable/non-transferrable.
In case of a cancelation at more than 90 days prior to departure, your deposit will be returned minus a $500 per person administrative fee.
In case of a cancelation within the penalty period: Find a replacement at least 30 days prior to departure and your journey will be fully refunded, minus a $500 per person administrative fee.
